A most excellent lecture - the planning and execution of the webcast were flawless. Appreciated the impromptu camera work. Prof. Mendelssohn was engaging, at times poetic, and provided an excellent overview of pre-Darwinian Naturalistic enquiry.

A truly excellent presentation from an engaging speaker. His insights into the lesser known figures in the story were most welcome.

One can only hope the remaining lectures will meet this standard. Thank you to all involved in the planning and presentation.

Well done.

Thanks so much for putting this together - it was a wonderful opportunity for those of us who have never had the chance to meet Professor Mendelsohn or hear him speak to broadcast him into our own living rooms! I thoroughly enjoyed him as a speaker and look forward to the rest of the lecture series. I am hooked!

What a great presentation. I was a bit out of my depth at some points as this is not my field of expertise, but it was extremely interesting. I'm planning to listen to the whole series. Thanks for turning me on to this wonderful endeavor of yours. Congratulations on a great night!

Thank you. A marvelous educational opportunity for our small (30 students) but enlightened group.

Missed the presentation - looking forward to the next one.

Just wondering if the presentation is posted anywhere?

Very lively and engaging talk. Kudos to the team for organizing the event seamlessly. Except for the inevitable time difference (5:30 a.m. in India), this is a great educational opportunity for students here and across the globe. I am hoping to gather a bunch of students for the upcoming seminars.

Keep up the great work Phil, Kendall and the rest of the gang!

A fantastic lecture, and a wonderful event! I'm looking forward to the rest of the series, and I'm very happy that the .mp3 of Mendelsohn's lecture is available so I can share it with those who couldn't come or listen in.

I would like to extend my warm regard and thanks to all who participated in the organization and promotion of this series - especially Phil Terry, who has answered all my questions and been a tireless promoter!
